Zamzam Thirst of the Heart
Zamzam
The light flowing into the thirst of the heart
You descended into the shadow of the Kaaba, I touched the stones that speak with silence. And there,
In a silence flowing into my heart, I heard that ancient breath rising from the earth's chest: Zamzam...
This water is not just water;
It is mercy finding its voice.
It is a luminous answer kneaded with a mother’s search, a child’s prayer, and a prophet’s trust.
O seeker,
As you approach Zamzam, take off not your shoes but your assumptions from your feet.
For this water flows according to the heart.
It is the fatigue of love running seven times between Safa and Marwah.
It is the union born of seeking.
A flower of patience blooming in the chest of infinity,
A fountain of mercy watered by Hagar's surrender.
Zamzam does not spring from stone; it is born of trust.
It blooms not in the middle of a dry desert but in the middle of a dry heart.
When it unites with the intention within you, it turns into a word: "BE."
And it becomes...
Thirst turns into gratitude, seeking turns into prostration.
This light carried in the dervish’s pitcher not only cools the heat of the world,
but gently extinguishes the ego too. As you drink, you realize:
The real thirst was not in your tongue but in your soul.
Zamzam is not something you drink but something that drinks you.
A secret is hidden in every drop. A manifestation in every sip...
You take one sip, yet the thousand-year fire within you begins to fade.
A cool verse descends into the chest of your heart,
And you know:
This water is a reminder falling from the heavens to you:
"You are mortal, but your Lord is everlasting."
Zamzam is like a river flowing with sincerity, from the soil of those who trust in God,
from the hearts dug patiently.
Some find healing when they drink it, some fall into prostration,
some can no longer speak…
Because at that moment, the heart goes beyond words.
O friend;
If one day the paths bring you to the Kaaba, bow and drink from that water,
but wash not just your body, wash your intention too…
Zamzam makes you drink yourself,
and in the end, you understand;
you too were a drop of Zamzam, sent to flow toward the Truth…
