Valley of the Self - Mina
Minā – Stones Cast Toward Truth in the Valley of the Self
We have arrived in Minā…
Passing through the narrow paths of the heart,
overcoming the dark wells of the ego…
Now we stand here.
With stones in hand,
like prayers, like pleas,
to silence the whispers of Satan.
Each stone is:
-
A regret for rebellion,
-
A repentance for sin,
-
An awakening from heedlessness…
Every stone cast is:
a blow to the chains of the ego,
a cry against the Pharaoh within:
“Not you! Sovereignty belongs to Him alone!”
Minā is not just a valley—
it is a stage of trial,
a battlefield of the soul.
And we…
are like Ismaels
seeking to discover the Abraham within us.
The whispers of Satan
sweep through the heart like a desert wind.
But we hurl stones
in the name of Truth,
in the name of Divine Unity,
in defense of our sacred trust.
As we cast each stone:
-
Our hearts are purified,
-
Our souls become lighter,
-
The idol within falls silent,
and a cry rises from deep within:
“Labbayk Allahumma Labbayk!”
(Here I am, O Allah, here I am!)
O Minā!
Show us that
the true battle lies not outside—but within.
Teach us that
the real devil is the one hiding inside us,
the one that keeps us from becoming our true selves.
And so,
with every stone cast, we draw closer to the Truth;
with every throw, we become more human.
