Medina 4
Medina – 4
A City Beyond Time
("Where the heart beats, the clock stops.")
Medina...
Is it merely a city?
No—it is a moment of peace untouched by time.
There, the voices of calendars fade, minutes retreat, and hours fall silent.
Because in Medina, time is measured by the heart.
And whenever the heart finds peace, that is when Medina begins...
There, the past is not a memory, but a living state.
The footsteps of the Messenger do not leave dust,
they leave Light (Nur) upon the earth.
When you take a step, it feels as though you are drawing closer to him.
When you send blessings (salawat), it feels as if he gently replies...
It is not “yesterday,” nor is it “tomorrow.”
It is a blessed realm that is always now.
Whenever the heart finds its direction, Medina is there.
Because Medina is
a map of mercy, given meaning through the Beloved of God.
On that map, not roads but states of being are drawn.
You may walk, but truly, it is the path that walks you.
You may wait, but patience has already arrived for you...
O heart...
If you are weary of the world, run to Medina.
Hide within its silence...
For there, the world does not speak—the afterlife whispers.
In the place where even time cannot step,
only the echo of salawat fills the air...
