Hajj Umrah Services

Hajj and Umrah Services
Hajj and Umrah services are organized in two main ways: by the Religious Affairs Directorate (Diyanet) and by private companies. The services provided by Diyanet differ from those of private companies. When the Umrah visitation period begins, people are informed accordingly. Those who wish to register can do so in the category they prefer. Nowadays, the services offer many alternatives and attract greater interest. People are no longer looking for faults in the services.
As for those who wish to perform the Hajj, they must first register, then wait for the draw (lottery). If they are selected, they can travel to fulfill their pilgrimage. Those who are not selected in the Hajj lottery must renew their registration every year. This renewal process can now be completed easily using a computer.
How are Umrah tours organized?
Umrah tours are offered by many companies. The Umrah pilgrimage does not have a fixed duration, but due to today’s circumstances, it is usually limited to a set number of days. People can choose their tour based on how long they plan to stay. Some tours last 1 week, while others may range from 20 to 30 days. Room arrangements are made according to participants’ preferences. For example, there can be rooms for two-person families, or shared rooms with five women or five men in standard settings.
If you're wondering whether Umrah companies only handle things in their home country—the answer is no. Once pilgrims arrive in the holy lands, the companies are also responsible for guiding them throughout the trip.
Umrah tour companies are obligated to meet the needs of the pilgrims they are taking to the holy lands. They must be present and supportive at every step—assisting with passport procedures, helping with luggage, and being there for any other needs. They should also participate in the seminars they organize, ensuring that pilgrims attend to learn how to perform the Umrah properly while in the holy land.
Umrah companies may take groups of pilgrims multiple times during the designated Umrah months. Each tour may offer a different experience. Therefore, it wouldn’t be fair to say, “this type offers this feature, and that one offers something else” as a comparison. Everyone should choose an Umrah tour that both fits their budget and feels right to them.
Initially, those establishing Umrah tour companies may register their close relatives or acquaintances for their visits. After returning from Umrah, the spiritual gifts such as Zamzam water and dates should not be forgotten. Compared to the old days, services today have become much more accessible and improved.
